Your rights and safety
You have rights whenever you ask about or receive disability support. We want you to understand them and feel safe using them.
You have the right to
- Be treated with dignity, respect and fairness.
- Make choices about your support and who is involved.
- Receive information in a way you can understand.
- Have your privacy protected.
- Speak up, give feedback or make a complaint without being treated badly.
- Use an advocate, interpreter or communication support.
- Be safe from violence, abuse, neglect, exploitation and discrimination.
If something does not feel right
Tell someone you trust, contact Aid Staffing, or make a complaint. You can complain anonymously and you do not need an account.
You can contact the NDIS Commission directly
Call 1800 035 544 or make a complaint online. You do not have to contact Aid Staffing first.
